The Littles

4 Months Together

A fun morning playing turned into a great photo shoot:)

We have been busy.  I will try to do updates with pictures, way We are always into fun!   The Bigs have started school.  We are mostly in a groove and find that some moments are easy and others or painfully difficult.  Of course, it's easist to report the fun and easy stuff, that's when I take pictures.......  except this one:

This is what happens when it's dinner time and I need to finish helping with homework, make sure Littles are occupied and finish cooking dinner.  Let's just say the Littles wantme.WantMe. WANTME and are learning they sometimes have to wait:(  It's a painful process for all of us.  Sometimes they are more easily distracted than others.  But I didn't want you to think it's all roses all the time.... that's just not reality.

Since the last update, we've gotten a good morning routine of going for a walk.  They have nicely learned to stay on the sidewalk, stop and come close when a car is coming by and have a specific plan to go see the "Happy Tree"
Our Neighborhood HAPPY TREE

Sometimes the walks are slow, sometimes quick, sometimes entail a lot of hopping, running, walking backwards, hand holding, but always.Always.ALWAYS include hunting down the Happy Tree,.  Now, Elizabeth likes to pretend she doesn't know where it is and asks at each tree we pass "Happy Tree"?????  As she smiles so big she can barely contain her hilarity.  And Levi mimics "Happy Tree" after her.
Crazy Driver!

Inside the house we have lots of constant activity as well.  A favorite is the "car".  They pretend they are going somewhere and say "byebye" and smooch their lips real big for a kiss.  Then hop on and off they go.  Usually by themselves, but sometimes, like the video above, TOGETHER.  I think Elizabeth has been paying too much attention when we are in the car..... she might be picking up a few bad habits.  Poor Levi holds on for dear life!
Rebecca likes to give piggy back rides

But there is time for dress up, games, piggy back rides, wrestling, snacks, singing, sword fighting (I couldn't post the naked ninjas)

They are usually pretty worn out by the end of the day..... you guessed it, I'm more than beat too!  It seems, for the most part, we are all sleeping well.  Both kids are in rooms with their siblings.  Elizabeth tends to wake up at either 2 am or 5 am and comes to our bed.  She is not upset, just wants to jump in:)
The Bigs are quite fun to play with too.  I am short on pictures of Anna with the kids as she's been sick for about 3 weeks.  We are trying to keep the strep and Mono isolated:(
Dance time!

Rebecca is great on the trampoline and swinging with them

They have always enjoyed finding water to splash in

There is a school playground we can ride our bikes to....

ELIZABETH just got glasses.  Now that they are fitting
better and I have a strap, they are staying on most all the time.
I didn't think she could get any cuter and them BAM,
 here she is in glasses.

They can restack a pantry like NOBODY'S business: by request or not!

They have both started to catch up on immunizations.  They handled it pretty well as you can see by the before and after pictures:

Overall, the kids are eating mostly along side of us now.  I would say they eat noodles maybe once a week.  Lvi is still more into vegetables than Elizabeth and she is more into fruit than him.  Elizabeth is still not eating tons of meat, but more than before.  And Levi will eat about anything we give him..... can you tell? :
