levi turns two!

As of today, we have had this boy in our arms for 58 days.  We get to celebrate his second Birthday on earth and first Birthday with his forever family.  Randy Levi XiYi Ryan, you keep me on my toes!  I always know how you are feeling.  You aren't shy about your emotions.  You have claimed me as your Mama and nobody or nothing even comes close to soothing you like I do, I love that you have allowed me to be that for you. What a gift to my heart.  It is exhausting to be the only one who you want, ALL THE TIME.... but I have a lot of time to make up for!  And I signed up to do that, and I want to do that and I will do it until I fall on my face with exhaustion!  Then I'll get up and do it some more and fill you up with love.

You are all boy.  You have an infectious and mischevious laugh.  You are willing to try many new foods.  You sleep on your back with your arms and legs flung open wide and sometimes have your eyes cracked open.. that's a little creepy.  You play hard, sleep hard, laugh hard and cry hard.  You have little patience for waiting for what you want (hello two's) and you will fling yourself on the floor faster than I can catch you sometimes.  You are smart.  You are busy.  You love to move and make things happen.  You enjoy jumping and running and water play.  The look on your face and gestures when you are surprised by something crack me up EVERY TIME!  Your mouth in that big "O" and hands out to the sides and turned up as if to say "What was that"......oh I love getting to know you. You smell flowers with great expectation, even when there is no smell, you seem pleased that you knew what to do with it :)  And lately, my favorite, you grab my face and bring me eye to eye to you so you can tell me or express to me what you wanted to say, because I apparently didn't listen quickly enough!  You have my attention, you have my heart.














We celebrate you today Levi and love you more than I can put into words.
