WE HAVE OUR BABIES!!!!!!

I was a mess of nervousness yesterday morning and still fighting stomach upset.  Most of our group gathered for prayer, which was comforting and brought peace. We left the hotel at 9:30, arrived at the office at 10:00.  It didn't seem too long and Levi came out.  The director handed him over to me and he came.  He was unsure but did not fuss or cry.  I gave him a sucker and he's been attached ever since:)  Not too much longer after that and Elizabeth was brought in to us.  Drew had Levi by now, so I took Elizabeth from her Orphanage Director.  She cried, fought being held and was inconsolable for awhile.  Drew took her and she calmed, and she's been his shadow ever since!  She has yet to show us her personality.  We have had a few glimpses of little smiles, but very stoic and watching everything.  We expected this.  Levi, on the other hand, has quickly graced us with laughter, mischievousness, snuggles and play.   They both are eating and sleeping well, the first night anyway.  We have a lot of running these next couple of days, lots of opportunity to bond:)

Elizabeth arrived with this bag.  It had a few snacks in it.  She would not let go of it for dear life!  Both kids came with their picture books I had sent, so I know they received their care packages.  Levi looks through his as though he is familiar with it.  He likes to point to the pictures.

What we know about Elizabeth so far.... she loves shoes!  She wanted to sleep in her shoes and she tried different shoes on though out the day :)

More pictures to come, we have to leave again......
